The Maryland Hospital Performance Evaluation Guide assists consumers and their families in obtaining hospital-based care, while our Improving Your Hospital Culture page helps providers assess and improve their culture to become a hospital of excellence.

Our nursing home resources page provides important links to essential provider information for the Nursing Home Quality Initiative (NHQI), as well as links to the CMS Nursing Home Compare site and the Nursing Home Performance Evaluation Guide  sponsored by the Maryland Health Care Commission.

Physician resources are available to help physician offices improve the quality of care delivered to patients.  Delmarva Foundation’s Doctor’s Office Quality-Information Technology (DOQ-IT) project provides free technical assistance and support to adult primary care physician practices in Maryland and the District of Columbia that want to implement electronic health records (EHR).

Delmarva Foundation’s Culture in Healthcare site promotes cultural competency education among adult primary care physicians in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
