Delmarva Foundation Announces Dr. Christian Jensen as CEO
Respected Healthcare Executive Moves to New Position with Easton Based Organization

Easton, MD, July 19, 2006 - Delmarva Foundation, Maryland’s premier healthcare quality organization, announces that Christian E. Jensen, M.D. of Denton, MD has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer.  He has formerly served as Chief Operating Officer and Medical Director of the Foundation.

Dr. Jensen is an experienced physician executive and clinician.  Prior to rejoining Delmarva, he served as Medical Director of the Western Integrity Center for Computer Sciences Corporation.  In addition to his experience as a practicing Family and Occupational Physician, he has been a Medical Supervisor for the DuPont Company, and had a Naval career including service in the Viet Nam War, Gulf War, and Cold War periods.  His last military duty was as Director of Occupational and Preventive Medicine at the US Naval Academy.

Dr. Jensen is a graduate of Duke University School of Medicine, and received Masters Degrees from the Medical College of Wisconsin and Rutgers University.  He is a Certified Physician Executive.
