Delmarva Foundation CEO Named to
National Patient Safety Foundation Board of Governors

Easton, MD, March 31, 2006 - Delmarva Foundation President and CEO Maulik Joshi, DrPH, was recently named a member of the Board of Governors for the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF).The National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) recently announced members of its Board of Directors, Board of Governors, and Distinguished Advisors.  This new three-tier structure was several years in the making, recognizing the evolution of NPSF as an organization now better able to address the needs of the patient and improve patient safety in the delivery of health care.

“I am honored to serve on the NPSF Board of Governors,” said Joshi. “The National Patient Safety Foundation’s work brings together many important stakeholders who have a joint mission to improve patient safety in the nation’s healthcare system.”

The Board of Governors will focus on program direction in keeping with NPSF’s mission.
