Julie Tyler, RN, ABQAURP
Senior Vice President
Ms. Tyler has more than 19 years of experience in the design and development of quality improvement, quality assurance and assessment programs for federal and state contractors. Her current role includes leading  Delmarva’s Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Intervention Team working with the provider community to improve clinical health outcomes . She also provides operational leadership for the Performance Assessment and Validation Team, which engages stakeholders in external quality review. Ms. Tyler leverages knowledge and resources across Delmarva’s review programs to provide high-quality services for our customers. Her extensive healthcare quality improvement background includes quality improvement project management, and utilization and quality of care review for Medicaid and Medicare populations; clinical assessment review tool design and implementation; and collaboration with providers, contractors, and associations. She is responsible for administrative oversight of 2 Medicare QIO contracts and 10 Delmarva Medicaid and Medicare quality assurance and assessment contracts, including work for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) covering the southeastern United States and six states across the country.

Ms. Tyler is a certified quality assurance professional pursuing a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. She is also experienced in leading organizational quality improvement teams and is a certified Motorola Six Sigma Green Belt.
